Ingredients
- 4 flour tortillas
- 2 medium apples
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 tablespoon water
Cooking instructions
- Peel, core, and finely dice the apples. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and water; cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and the liquid is mostly reduced. Cool for 5 minutes. (about 7 min) — Medium heat
- Warm the tortillas briefly so they are flexible. Divide the apple filling among the tortillas, placing it in a line near one edge. Roll each tortilla tightly around the filling and place seam-side down. (about 3 min)
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F. Arrange the taquitos seam-side down in a single layer, leaving space between them. Air-fry for 6 to 8 minutes, turning halfway if needed, until golden and crisp. (about 8 min) — 380°F
- Cool for 2 minutes before serving; the filling will be very hot. (about 2 min)
