Date Oat Energy Balls

Ingredients

Cooking instructions

  1. Add the dates, oats, peanut butter, cocoa powder, chia seeds, and salt to a food processor. Process until the mixture is evenly combined and sticky enough to hold together when pressed; scrape down the bowl once or twice as needed. (about 5 min)
  2. Scoop out 1 tablespoon of the mixture at a time and roll between your palms into 12 balls. If the mixture feels crumbly, let it stand for 2 minutes before rolling so the dates can soften the oats. (about 10 min)
  3. Arrange the balls in a covered container and refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes. (about 30 min) — Refrigerate
  4. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. — Refrigerate
