Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds cod fillets
- 3 tablespoons white miso
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 medium green onions
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Cooking instructions
- Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels. If the fillets vary in thickness, tuck under any very thin ends so they cook evenly. (about 2 min)
- In a small bowl, whisk together the white miso, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and finely grated garlic. (about 3 min)
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F. Lightly coat the basket with cooking spray or line it with a perforated air-fryer liner. (about 3 min) — 390°F
- Brush the tops and sides of the cod with the miso mixture, reserving about 1 tablespoon for serving. Place the fillets in the basket with space between them, glaze-side up. (about 2 min) — 390°F
- Air-fry until the glaze is browned and the thickest part of the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches 145°F on an instant-read thermometer, 8 to 10 minutes depending on thickness. (about 10 min) — 390°F
- Transfer the cod to plates. Brush with the reserved glaze only if it has not touched the raw fish; otherwise discard it. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, and serve immediately. (about 2 min)
