Ingredients
- 4 medium frozen bananas
- 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch fine salt
Cooking instructions
- Break the frozen bananas into chunks and add them to a food processor or high-powered blender. Add the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt. (about 2 min)
- Blend, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed, until thick and creamy. This may take 2 to 4 minutes; let the bananas soften briefly if the machine struggles, but do not add liquid unless necessary. (about 4 min)
- Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture, or transfer to a freezer-safe container, cover, and freeze until firmer, about 1 to 2 hours. If frozen longer, let it stand at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes before scooping. (about 120 min)
