Ingredients

Cooking instructions

  1. Line a small baking sheet or plate with parchment paper. Use a sharp knife to cut a lengthwise slit in each date, stopping before cutting all the way through. Remove and discard the pits. (about 5 min)
  2. Spoon about 2 teaspoons of peanut butter into each date, gently pressing the sides together around the filling. (about 5 min)
  3. Place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan containing 1 inch of barely simmering water. Stir until smooth, then remove the bowl from the heat. (about 5 min) — Barely simmering water
  4. Dip each stuffed date halfway into the melted chocolate, or drizzle the chocolate over the tops. Arrange on the parchment and sprinkle lightly with flaky salt while the chocolate is still warm. (about 3 min)
  5. Refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes, until the chocolate is set. Serve chilled or let the dates stand at room temperature for 5 minutes before serving. (about 30 min)
