Ingredients
- 12 rolls slider rolls
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 6 ounces pepperoni
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Cooking instructions
- Heat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Without separating the rolls, slice the entire slab of rolls horizontally to create a top and bottom. (about 3 min) — 375°F
- Place the bottom half of the rolls in the baking dish. Spread the marinara evenly over it, then layer on the pepperoni and sprinkle with the mozzarella. Set the top half of the rolls in place. (about 4 min) — 375°F
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Remove from the heat and stir in the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan. (about 3 min) — Low heat
- Brush the garlic herb butter evenly over the tops of the rolls. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are hot throughout. (about 12 min) — 375°F
- Remove the foil and bake for 4 to 6 minutes more, until the tops are golden brown. Rest for 5 minutes, then separate the sliders and serve warm. If checking with a thermometer, the center should reach at least 165°F. (about 6 min) — 375°F
