Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds ground beef
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 6 ounces cheddar cheese
- 24 chips dill pickle chips
- 12 rolls soft dinner rolls
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 0.25 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon butter
Cooking instructions
- Heat the oven to 375°F. Line a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with parchment or lightly grease it. (about 5 min) — 375°F
- In a medium bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard. Set the burger sauce aside. (about 2 min)
- Place the ground beef on a large sheet of parchment and gently press it into an even 9-by-13-inch rectangle. Sprinkle evenly with the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. (about 4 min)
- Carefully transfer the beef sheet to the prepared pan. Bake until cooked through and the center reaches 160°F on an instant-read thermometer, 10 to 12 minutes. (about 12 min) — 375°F
- Meanwhile, slice the rolls in half horizontally as one connected slab, keeping the tops and bottoms intact. Spread the burger sauce over the cut sides of both slabs. (about 3 min)
- Remove the beef from the oven and carefully drain any excess grease. Place the beef on the roll bottoms, trimming it to fit if needed. Top with the cheddar and pickle chips, then add the roll tops. (about 3 min)
- Brush the roll tops with the melted butter. Return the assembled sliders to the pan and bake until the cheese melts and the rolls are warm, 3 to 5 minutes. (about 5 min) — 375°F
- Let the sliders rest for 2 minutes, then separate them and serve warm. (about 2 min)
