## Ingredients
- 1 lb italian sausage
- 16 oz shelf-stable potato gnocchi
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp fresh sage
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 0.5 tsp kosher salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 0.25 cup parmesan cheese

## Cooking instructions
1. Heat the olive oil in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage and cook, breaking it into small pieces, until browned and the center reaches 160°F (71°C), about 7 to 9 minutes. (about 9 min) (Medium-high heat)
2. Add the garlic and sage, then cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. (about 0.5 min) (Medium heat)
3. Stir in the pumpkin puree, chicken broth, salt, and black pepper, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet. (about 2 min) (Medium heat)
4. Add the gnocchi and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the gnocchi are tender and the sauce lightly thickens, about 5 to 7 minutes. (about 7 min) (Gentle simmer)
5. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the cream. Cook until warmed through, about 2 minutes; do not boil. (about 2 min) (Low heat)
6. Remove from the heat and serve with Parmesan cheese.
